FP Recommended Reading for "Mailing List" functionality

The general gist is - if someone signs up for the mailing list at the bottom - they get added to the database of customers and we put them on the "mailing list" segment. If they buy a product - they get added to the database and we put them on the "customer" segment. Then the client can send out emails to specific customers, or send emails to entire segments. Etc.
I would recommend they just start with Shopify and see if it works for them - else we can look into another system.
