Close project

This is a Feedback page tagged “close_project” which activates the template.

This page expects “project_id” to be passed in as a URL querystring parameter. For example - where XXX is the Project Profile user ID:

• /close-a-project?project_id=XXX

If user lands on page without passing in the project id we display the following error message OR if the API cannot find a project with the provided id:

Project not found
The project you are trying to close cannot be found. Please try again or contact Landcare Tasmania for help.

If user lands on page with a project id but they do not have the project_author:XXX tag:

Contact your Project Author
You are not the author of this project. Please contact your Project author if you believe this project should be closed.
If you are unable to contact the Project author - please contact Landcare Tasmania for help.

A reminder that these projects are stored in ClickUp and any updates should be done through ClickUp! They are stored as profiles in NB and pulled into the site through tags project and directory:projects.

To Be Determined - what to do in NationBuilder with a closed project....

• You could remove these tags and add a new one closed_project or something?
• Not sure if you want to completely delete from NationBuilder?

Important - if removing a project profile, make sure you also delete the project link tags from the related author and the group so they no longer appear in their members toolbox or group profile:

• the project author will be tagged project_author:PROJECT_ID - remove this tag to unlink the author
• the project group (if applicable) will be tagged project_group:PROJECT_ID - remove this tag to unlink the group
