Individual Story Page

The individual story page is a special page template - activated for blog posts under the Member Stories blog.

Member Stories can have the following content:

• headline
  • auto assigned on submission - "XXX's Story" where XXX is the submitters name
• content
  • the textarea from the submission form
• video
  • optional video submission from the form
• image
  • optional image submission from the form

Every individual story will have a "Back to experiences >" button after the content - linking users back to the wall.

At the bottom of every story post page will be the share-your-story.md banner - giving users the opportunity to submit their own.

#YouTube video Embeds

Admins can upload a YouTube video as a story by manually creating a Blog Post under the stories wall here:

They can attach the youtube video to the blog post by adding a tag youtube_id:XXX where XXX is the video id (which is what comes after the = sign in the URL). For example - if we wanted to embed this youtube video:

• https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgEovcK89EE

The id in this case is jgEovcK89EE

You would want to add the following tag:

• youtube_id:jgEovcK89EE

Since it is an admin loading the story, we have also added an author tag to override the admin's name on the front end. The format is author:xxxx where xxxx is the name that you want to display
