The Search page is accessible to users by clicking the magnifying glass icon in the navbar.

We use a third party search tool - SearchIQ to crawl the sitemap.md and find any "published" page and add it the result set. The exception is when a page has been tagged page_no_robots - which you will want to do if you want to hide a published page (i.e. a subpage layout module).
