Overview

CTU have a series of 15-30 events from June 10th - July 16th around the country managed by facilitators and attended by members.

Events will live here can be seen here:

These events will be managed by Facilitators who manage the event and see feedback.

Facilitators will manage the events, check in attendees, and write their own review of the event.

Attendees are able to provide feedback and share ideas for events they attend.

Admins are given Facilitator permissions, and additionally can view all Ideas and Facilitator Reviews, in addition to being able to export event response data as a CSV.

NationBuilder Tags\

#Event Tags:

• facilitator:ID - add to event page to activate facilitator for that event

Idea Blog Post Tags:

• attendee_idea - identifies blog post as attendee idea
• page_no_robots - to prevent search engines from crawling these pages
• event_id:ID - the event id used for API - aka page.event.id
• event_page_id:ID the NB event page id - aka page.id
• event_slug:SLUG - slug of related event (in case linking or subpaging is ever needed)
• Policy category tag - one of:
  • policy:securing_our_future
  • policy:ending_inequality
  • policy:rebuilding_aotearoa
  • policy:good_work
  • policy:other
• attendee_id:ID - id of author of attendee post - to find just idea posts for user
• author_id:ID - all posts get this tag - to find all posts for user
• attendee_event_idea_id:EVENT_ID-PERSON_ID - this combined tag lets you easily find all existing attendee ideas for the current event (note EVENT_ID is page.event.id)
• image:URL - added to a post when image uploaded via Cloudinary
• video:URL - added to a post when video uploaded via Pipe

Structure

• Event Page created for each event
  • Feedback page created as subpage of event for user ideas feedback. Important - feedback page be set to redirect back to event page on submit. These feedback pages create policy blog posts via the API in one of the 5 policy blogs listed below.

Where to store all facilitator feedback?

Feedback will be left on a feedback form and a blog post will be generated via the API in a blog underneath the "Your Events" dashboard.

Where to store all the user feedback?

Store all user feedback as blog posts - one blog for each policy + "other". Give them event ID tags so we can associate them with specific events.

What type of media can / will users submit?

• Text
• Photos - stored in Cloudinary
• Videos - stored in Pipe

"Featured Posts Wall" is not included in this - will come at a later date. Design/UI and process of how to feature (i.e. how to tag the post "featured")

Profiles not included in this either - Just have a user's uploads visible to them on their dashboard.
