home-header

This basic content layout can be activated by applying the tag layout:home-header to a published basic subpage.

This is a special layout - so there is a bit of customisation available here.

The main module background gets set from the site background image setting within NationBuilder. This is the only place we use this image on the site:

NOTE: Most of these images have had their dimensions and file size optimised to look their best without negatively impacting performance. If you are planning to make any changes to this module and need help optmizing the images, please reach out to For Purpose and we can help.

If you would like this module to carousel through multiple images and text - you can add nested basic subpages underneath the parent page.

For example the current home_header module has 5 subpages, one for each slide:

The page title and the attached image for each of the child pages gets loaded into the carousel.

You can rearrange the order of these slides by changing their order from the "Sub nav pages" tab in the control panel.

NOTE: There are some custom animations at play here, if you want any adjustments to the animation or duration of the slide (autoplay) - please contact a For Purpose developer.

Single image mode

If you just want one big image and header text - you can activate this module without have any subpages and it will pull from the attached images and headline.
