#Create the story page

To add a story page - create a new basic subpage underneath the story_grid page in the control panel:

You will want to make sure the page status is "Published" and that the "Include in supporter nav" tickbox is ticked.

Customise the story page

You will want to tag your new page subpage_layout - this will allow you to add multiple sections to the page by creating subpages underneath.

You can customise these pages however you like by creating any type of module - but based on the current site content (as of 23 December 2022) - you might only need to add a single basic content module for a video.

Customise the story card

You will also want to populate some fields so your story looks good on the stories page grid and on the about page story grid.

You can upload a story card image by selecting the "Settings" tab, then the "Social media" tab, and then uploading an image where it has the "Thumbnail image for Facebook, etc." file uploader.

You can add story card description text in the "Excerpt for Facebook, search engines" text area just above it.
