individual Report

The individual report template is a customized blog post template for blog posts in the Research & Reports blog.

#Report card

The initial card image comes from the individual blog post's social / meta image.

An optional "card_flip" image can be added - which will appear on hover - this can be added by uploading an image in the attachments that contains "card_flip" in the filename. For example "Report_card_flip.png".

The card title is pulled from the individual blog post headline.

The card description is populated based on the individual blog post "Before the flip" content.

Report page

The headline will be displayed at the top of the page - followed by the published date and share links.

NOTE: The page author has been hidden automatically for all individual reports.

The meta image is loaded in at 100% width and the "After the flip" content is loaded beneath.

Report Downloads

At the bottom of the individual report page is the Download section. There is a "Download" headline which is followed by one or multiple cards.

These cards gets populated by looping through the page attachments - sorted alphabetically and will create a card for all files - as long as the file name does not contain "preview" or "card_flip".

If the page attachment is either PDF or ZIP - we include that detail as well - underneath the headline.

To upload a preview image for your individual attachment - an image file with the exact same file name with "_preview" added onto the end must also be a page attachment. For example - a resource page with 2 PDF attachments might have the following 5 page attachments:

In this scenario - "Report_card_flip.png" is for the page card in the grid. Two attachments will appear Te Kete a KoPA (English) and "Te Kete a KoPA (Māori)" which each have a preview image.

Special Case - Files larger than 10MB or unsupported file type

When uploading reports - you may encounter a scenario where a PDF is larger than 10MB and NationBuilder will not allow you to upload it as an attachment. Or you may be trying to upload a file type that is not supported by NationBuilder attachment system (for example: audio files). If this scenario occurs - you will need to upload the report download using an alternative method detailed below.

First - your file will need to be hosted somewhere other than NationBuilder. For Purpose has an AWS S3 Bucket specific for this site to store files like these. Please contact For Purpose with you file and we can upload it and get you the necessary URL.

In NationBuilder, you will need to create a basic subpage underneath your individual report page for each special case file. Make sure you tick the "include in supporter nav" tickbox and put the page status as "Published". Once the page has been created - add the page tag page_no_robots.

Upload the preview image for this file to the meta / social image, and paste the hosted URL of the file in the page excerpt. Put the title of the file in the page headline.
