50 Wero

For Te Wiki 2025 we have the 50 Wero Reo Maori challenge. Users will:

  1. Sign up
  2. Select challenge(s)
  3. Complete challenge(s)
  4. Share what they did

#50 Wero (Select your challenges)

Once a user has signed up to the site and land on the page - they will see a card grid of all 50 Wero. They can select any challenge they want to take by clicking on each challenge card. When they user clicks the "Select wero" button - the signup form will submit.
Upon clicking this button:

  1. The user will be tagged 50_wero_selected.
  2. The user will be selected challenge_##_selected for each challenge they have selected.
  3. The user will be sent an autoresponse email.
  4. The user will be redirected to /complete-50-wero.

If the user arrives on the page and has already been tagged 50_wero_selected - they will see the following banner message:

If the user arrives on the page and has already been tagged 50_wero_completed - they will see the following in the banner message:

Looks like you have already completed a wero - tell us about what you did!
Share your wero (/share-50-wero)

50 Wero (Complete your challenges)

Once a user has signed up to the site, selected at least one challenge, and land on the page - they will see a card for each of their selected. They can complete any challenge they haven't already by clicking on each challenge card. When they user clicks the "Complete wero" button - the signup form will submit.
Upon clicking this button:

  1. The user will be tagged 50_wero_completed.
  2. The user will be selected challenge_##_completed for each challenge they have selected.
  3. The user will be sent an autoresponse email.
  4. The user will be returned back to /complete-50-wero.

If the user arrives on the page and has already been tagged 50_wero_selected - they will see the following banner message:

Users will go through the normal Share Flow process here to submit what they did for the 50 Wero Reo Maori challenge. Upon share flow submission:

  1. The user will be tagged shared_50_wero.
  2. The user will be sent an autoresponse email.
