Share Flow - Pipe Video and AWS Setup

#Overview

This documentation contains additional information on setting up Pipe video and AWS for a new moment. Pipe videos require some manual steps:

Create a new Pipe environment for the moment

Uploaded videos use Pipe for the uploader and AWS for storage. A new Pipe environment and AWS S3 folder is usually created for a new moment to organise videos.

To create a new enviroment, click the dropdown on the right and select Add new environment

You need to copy the enviroment ID (eid) and use that as the value for the page tag pipe_video_eid:PIPE_VIDEO_ENVIRONMENT_ID

Click on the cog on the right to view the EID:

Create a new AWS S3 folder for the moment

Pipe uploads the videos but they are stored in a folder in the addpipeteoreo AWS S3 bucket.

AWS S3 addpipetereo bucket

This folder should be used as the value for the feedback page tag pipe_video_aws_folder:AWS_S3_FOLDER

Configure Pipe to use the AWS S3 moment

Pipe must be configured to use the new AWS S3 folder to store the uploaded videos.
