Accessibility Audit

Access Advisors completed an accessibility audit in February 2026 and provided a list of issues:

We have fixed all the issues caused by the site theme template and styling, and fixed known issues caused by content (inline styling via WYSWIYGs).

Some of the issues raised are out of our control due to NationBuilder limitations.

The issues flagged in the audit that we were unable to address:

#36b - Add custom validation check messages to specifically call out fields. The forms currently use standard HTML5 validation, NationBuilder also performs server-side validation on submit of forms. The request here is for us to implement client-side validation - which could be done if requested - but will restrict form flexibility.

#43 - Hide flash message "Signed out". We could try to hide if they really want - but this is a NationBuilder platform flash message - not one we trigger ourselves.

#52 - Does like double hyphens in class names "animate--fade-in" if wanting XML mapping. Can fix if requested but risky as would need us to rename many of our CSS classes.

#59 - Duplicate "content" id in video WYSIWYG - caused by NationBuilder embedly embeds.
