PSD Designs - Homepage, People, Vision
Imported in Figma - mixed results

Design attached - we’ll need to get an estimate to them next week.

Note:

banner headline text should be typewriter style animation
top nav should open on hover - like https://www.acenz.org.nz/ but smaller (just containing the subpages)
the two modules on the homepage with 3 column image/text/button tiles shoul dbe able to be flexible. By adding a tag the inverse colour should be available (white background bark text + Dark backgound white text) plus the button should only appear if there is a link (in content or seo field?)
Topnav - the donate button is highlighted however it should always just be the last button in the nav order (i think we always do this anyway?)
rest of the site should just be as it comes out of the box

Plan:

Start with the newest version of the public theme
Make sure there is an up-to-date version of the Public Theme documentation on FP doc site
Make changes based on provided design
duplicate out Public Theme docs and modify for Better Taxes

Things to check on vs old site:

Breadcrumbs for pages that aren’t top nav or child of Other folder (hide_from_breadcrumbs). news, events, blog posts, resources, etc….
Blog - increase posts to show - currently only showing 10 of 12
Make “Question” pages hidden from search engines / sitemap by default.
Blog posts, Resources, etc… load image into top of page
About - has inline table - consider converting to responsive layout module
Flag any pages with “_” and change to “-”. Setup redirect pages.
Check if they want us to remove “Author” from displaying on News posts.

Questions for Client

Do you have a Figma link or design somewhere online that i can view and build off of? This is helpful for extracting images, getting font sizing and spacing, colors, padding, etc.

Navbar reshuffle - I see new “Learn” and “Take Action” folders - which pages go in there?

Accordion modules - Do you want me to restrict these so only one can be open at a time? Or should we allow all 3 to be open at once?
Can we have them restricted to have only one open at a time

Scrolling logos module - Are these logos clickable? If so - to an internal “partner” profile page? Or should they link to the partners external website?
To keep things simple, can we have them all linked to the "About > Our People" page

Footer links - “Submissions”, “Resources”, “Tools”, “Media Releases”, “Events”, “The Issues”, “Volunteer” - are these placeholder or are these intended to be here? Just asking as i see they aren’t in top nav - but if they are intended to be here it will impact how i wire up the nav/footer links
They are currently placeholders, in theory they should be links to the mega menu items from the main navigation

New design does not have “Search” - are we ditching that or should i incorporate it into new site?
Oh yes, please do incorporate a search menu/bar

A few things to confirm / assets to get from the designer:

- homepage - “We need better taxes” - 3 tile images
- homepage - “Together we can change the rules” - 3 tile images
- homepage - “Our coalition partners” - all partner logos
- our vision - 3 tile images (looks to be same from homepage)
- our people - individual’s photos for team members

- purple = #53296D
- gray = #6B6B6B
- orange = #F79723
- please confirm these or let me know if i am missing any others
Text stylings (font, font sizes, colors, etc) - if they have specific requests for certain sections - else i will just make assumptions or leave at theme defaults
