News Card Carousel
The homepage news card carousel is a basic subpage module - activated by tags module_card_carousel and module_card_carousel:news. The news page is tagged news - which tells the module to pull data from that page.

Homepage Signup
The homepage signup module is a basic subpage module - activated by tags module_signup and module_signup_newsletter. The signup page is tagged newsletter - which tells the module which NB signup page to pull in.

Resources Card Carousel
The homepage resources card carousel is a basic subpage module - activated by tags module_card_carousel and module_card_carousel:resources. The news page is tagged resources - which tells the module to pull data from that page.

News

The News page will render all blog posts in the News blog as a card in the grid.

Users can filter this grid by using the keyword (textbox) search or by clicking a filter toggle.

These filter toggles get populated based on page tags of the child blog post pages.

Card Grid layout
The card grid layout is activated on this page by the page tag module_card_grid. If you remove this tag - the card grid will no longer have the ability to be searched, filtered, or sorted.

individual News page

An individual news page is a NationBuilder blog post within the News blog.

News card
To customize the individual news card for a post - you can upload a meta image, and set the page excerpt for the card description. The title will be the blog post's headline.

If a meta image is not set but an image attachment exists - this will be used by default as the card image.

If no page excerpt is set - the card description will pull from the "before the flip" content section of the blog post.

News filter toggles
A filter can be added to the news card and the parent news card grid by adding a filter:XXX page tag to the individual news post. For example - if you wanted the toggle filter to read "Annual Reports" you would add the page tag filter:Annual Reports to the individual news post page. This tag can be applied to one or multiple new post pages.

Resources

The Resources page will render all basic subpages underneath the Resources basic page as a card in the grid.

individual Resources page

An individual resource page is a NationBuilder basic subpage underneath the Resource basic page.

Resource card
To customize the individual Resource card for a post - you can upload a meta image, and set the page excerpt for the card description. The title will be the page's headline.

If no page excerpt is set - the card description will pull from the page content.

To hide any page from the search results, like an old outdated event or a subpage module - please give it the page tag page_no_robots.

Links in the nav are determined by the NationBuilder "Include in top nav" setting and a special Search icon linked to the /search page.
