Public Profiles
When a user first signs up / takes action on the Reo Māori site they will have a user record created in the NationBuilder People database and they will be “sorta” logged in. They can take actions like sharing moments.
They will have the option to activate their profile if they wish - which will require them to set a password on their account.
Once they set a password - their profile will be activated. They will then have the ability to edit their profile - where they will have the following options:
- Don’t publish my profile on the website - Checking this box will completely hide their profile from all users and search engines
- Allow search engines to find my profile - If this checkbox is checked - their public profile will be able to be indexed by search engines. If this checkbox is unchecked - their public profile will be visible by other users, but not appear in search engine search results.
