Banner
module_banner
The banner module displays a full-width banner in a subpage layout page.
To add a banner, create a published basic subpage beneath the parent page and include it in the supporter navigation. Apply the tag module_banner to the subpage. The theme expects module_banner; the tag banner_module will not activate this module.
By default, the module displays the subpage's headline and content. If the subpage has a social share image, the default banner layout also displays that image.
#What matters to you? layout
Add both of these tags to the banner subpage:
module_bannerlayout:what-matters-to-you
The layout:what-matters-to-you tag gives the banner the same artwork and styling as the introductory screen on the What matters to you? page.
The headline and basic content are taken from the banner subpage. If either is empty, the banner uses the default What matters to you? headline or introductory text.
The banner's Tīmata. Let's go button links to the page tagged what-matters-to-you, using that page's current URL with ?intro=skip appended. The current destination is /start_here_what_matters_to_you?intro=skip. This takes people straight to the issue selection screen instead of repeating the introductory screen.
Apply what-matters-to-you to the destination page; keep module_banner and layout:what-matters-to-you on the banner subpage. Keep the destination tag on only the page you want the banner to link to. If its slug changes, the banner follows the new URL automatically. To change the destination to a different page, move the what-matters-to-you tag to that page.
The logo, button label, background artwork and note beneath the button are part of the custom layout and require a theme change to update.
