About Components

Components are reusable content blocks used to assemble Pages. Add them from a page's Content Blocks field, then drag them into the required order.

The guides in this section cover the components used by the current Alcohol Healthwatch pages. Internal helper components are configured through their parent block and do not appear separately in the component picker.

Before adding a new block, check whether the page already contains a component with the same purpose. Keep headings in a logical order, provide alternative text for meaningful images, preview desktop and mobile layouts, and keep animation restrained and consistent.
