The Data area contains shared site metadata and the lists used by collection fields and filters.

| Site Title / Description | Default site identity and search description. |
| Base URL | Base address used when generating absolute URLs. Change only with developer guidance. |
| Favicon Icon / Image | Browser and device icons. |
| Twitter Image / Site | Default Twitter/X sharing image and account. |
| Image | Default image used when the site is shared. |
| Google Tag ID | Optional analytics identifier. |
| Social | Site-wide social profile URLs, icon classes, and accessible labels. |
Taxonomy lists
- Post Tags: Announcement, E-News, Media, and Policy.
- Resource Type Tags: the values used to classify and filter Resources.
- Story Tags: Impact, Innovation, Community, and Event.
- Region Tags: New Zealand regions available to components that support regional data.
Changing or removing a taxonomy value does not automatically update existing records. Update affected records and filters at the same time so values continue to match exactly.
