Scorecard

The Scorecard page is assembled from a parent Basic page and its module subpages using subpage_layout. Visitors can browse the scorecards in a carousel, open an image in a lightbox (an enlarged overlay), or select a party logo to open its matching scorecard.

The lightbox shows the image and any description, with a View full size button that opens the original image in a new tab. The duplicate headline is visually hidden, while remaining available to screen readers.

Subpage modules

To hide the main landing-page headline while keeping its introduction, add hide_page_headline to the parent Scorecard page. This is separate from the lightbox's heading treatment.

#One set of content supplies both modules

Scorecard landing page — subpage_layout
  Carousel module — module_scorecard_carousel + scorecard-data
    Overall scorecard — scorecard image
Party / item one — scorecard image + optional logo image
Party / item two — scorecard image + optional logo image
  Other explanatory sections
  Logos module — module_scorecard_logos
  Other content sections

Keep the page tag scorecard-data on the carousel module only. It tells the Logos module where to find the shared content. Keep it on one published source page, rather than adding it to every scorecard item, the logo module or the landing page.

Each scorecard is a Basic subpage beneath the carousel module. Its images and wording supply both the carousel and its logo link. The Logos module has its own introduction, but needs no duplicate scorecard subpages or attachments.

Current scorecard records

The Overall Party Scorecard intentionally does not appear in the logo grid because it has no logo image attached.

Updating or adding a scorecard

  1. Open the relevant item beneath the carousel module, or create a new Basic child there.
  2. Set a clear Headline for the image's alternative text and screen-reader label. The headline is visually hidden in the lightbox. Add any visible explanation in Basic > Content.
  3. Upload an image with scorecard anywhere in its filename, for example act-scorecard.webp.
  4. If the item should also appear in the logo grid, upload a second image on the same item page with logo in its filename, for example act-logo.png.
  5. Replace or remove older matching attachments so the intended images are selected. Keep the two filenames distinct; a name containing both scorecard and logo can be selected for both uses.
  6. Save and publish the item. To change item order, arrange the children beneath the carousel module in its Sub nav pages screen and check the resulting order on the live page.
  7. Preview /scorecard. Open the carousel image and its logo, if present, and check the image and description. Use View full size to check that the current original image opens in a new tab.

The matching words are case-insensitive: ACT-SCORECARD.webp works too. The modules use the first matching image of each kind. A PDF or Social media image alone does not supply a scorecard or logo.

See the Carousel guide for the full field mapping and the Logos guide for the shared-source rules.
