Previewing and Troubleshooting

#Before finishing an edit

  1. Save the page, then open the assembled landing-page URL. A module's own URL may use the ordinary Basic template and look different.
  2. Check the heading, text, image crop, colour and section order on desktop and mobile.
  3. Test links, accordion questions, gallery images and carousel controls that you changed.
  4. For restricted content, check the page and its destination links while logged out and with the intended member account.
  5. If you changed a source page, image or Excerpt, check other cards or modules that reuse it.

Common problems

What you see What to check
A section is missing It must be a direct subpage of the correct parent, ready for public display, and enabled in supporter nav. The parent needs subpage_layout.
A module looks like plain text Check the exact module: spelling. An unrecognised module can fall back to Basic content.
A blank image area Check which page owns the image and whether the module reads attachments or the Social media image.
Hero or image-column image missing Their first attachment must be an image, rather than a PDF or another file.
Cards are missing Check the source slug/tag, source-filter:, limit:, publication status and whether items are children of the intended source.
Carousel still has arrows Use indicators:dots, with a plural indicators, and layout:carousel.
Subscriber tile missing Use a default Basic section or module:cards with layout:grid.
Reordering appears to do nothing Check sort: on Cards and confirm you reordered items under the page that supplies them.
Changes appear in several places A shared source page, sidebar, Navbar or footer may supply all those places.

If the problem remains, email [email protected] with the page URL, the control panel page name or slug, the change you made and what you expected to see.
