Hero

Tag: module:hero

The hero is the large opening banner. On the four current weaFV pages it is supplied by the parent landing page itself, alongside subpage_layout.

NationBuilder field What appears
Headline The large page heading.
Basic > Content Introductory text and any formatted links/buttons.
eyebrow:TEXT page tag A short label above the heading; replace TEXT with your wording.
Excerpt The eyebrow if no eyebrow: tag supplies one.
First attachment Optional background image; the first attachment must be an image.

For example, add eyebrow:Practice as one page tag to show “Practice” above the hero heading. eyebrow:XXX means replace XXX, rather than entering the letters literally. Keep one eyebrow tag. Clear both the tag and Excerpt if no eyebrow should appear.

#Editing steps

  1. Open the landing page and confirm its existing subpage_layout and module:hero tags.
  2. Update Headline, Content and the optional eyebrow.
  3. To change the background, replace the first attachment with the approved image. Keep important wording in the text, as this image is decorative.
  4. Save and preview the actual landing page on desktop and mobile.

The normal hero style is dark, including when style:default is selected. Other supported style: tags can change it, but keep the approved design. Hero has its own spacing; shared spacing: tags do not add standard section padding.

The actual homepage, and the current home_weafv slug, receive a special homepage hero treatment. Confirm that treatment after renaming the page or selecting the final homepage.
