Concertinas

Tag: module:concertina or module:concertinas

A concertina, also called an accordion, lets visitors open a heading to reveal its answer. The singular and plural tags select the same module. module:accordion and module:accordions are also supported aliases.

#Set up the section

  1. Create or open the Basic page supplying the section and add one of the module tags above.
  2. Use that page's Headline and Content for an optional section introduction.
  3. Add a Basic child page beneath the module for each question/item.
  4. Put the item's question or title in the child's Headline, and its answer in Basic > Content.
  5. Arrange the children under the module in the intended order, then preview the assembled landing page.

The module reads its children for the expanding items. Text entered only on the module becomes the introduction; it does not create an accordion item by itself. No <hr> or special HTML marker is required.

Pattern on the right

Add layout:pattern-right to the concertina module page to show the fixed woven pattern beside the accordion stack on wider screens. The pattern is supplied by the theme; you do not upload a picture or create another child for it.

Example tags for the Join accordion section:

module:concertina
layout:pattern-right
spacing:regular
page_no_robots

The standard layout uses no layout: tag. Shared styles and spacing are supported; spacing defaults to regular. Item-level style: tags are also read, but keep the approved treatment and preview the open and closed states if changing them.

layout:pattern-right is not a second column of accordion items. The separate name module:concertina-columns is not implemented in the checked theme.
