Styles and Spacing

Add style and spacing tags to the page supplying the module. They do not automatically restyle every child or the whole website. Keep one style: tag and one spacing: tag per module.

#Colour styles

Tag Appearance
style:default The normal light page canvas. Hero uses dark as its default instead.
style:beige or style:raranga Light beige / Raranga background with dark text.
style:beige-60 or style:raranga-60 Stronger Raranga tint with dark text.
style:dark Dark background and light text.
style:warm or style:brown Warm brown background and light text.
style:green or style:ngahere Green background and light text.
style:gold Gold background and light text.
style:white White background and dark text.
style:offwhite Off-white background and dark text.

These are the styles defined in the checked theme. Choose the style shown in the approved page design and preview the text, links and buttons together. A new colour name will not create a new style.

Space above and below a section

Tag Result
spacing:none Removes the shared outer spacing.
spacing:regular Standard spacing for text sections and accordions.
spacing:large More room around the section.
spacing:extra-large The largest shared spacing option.

The theme adjusts these sizes for smaller screens. These tags do not set a fixed height, control the spacing inside the content editor or change the distance between individual cards.

If no spacing tag is supplied:

Older equivalent values are spacing:flush for none; spacing:default, spacing:standard and spacing:compact for regular; spacing:lg for large; and spacing:xlarge or spacing:xl for extra-large. Prefer the four main names above for new content.

Subscriber sidebar

sidebar:subscribe adds the fixed Become a subscriber panel to a default Basic section or a Cards section with layout:grid. On Cards, the grid defaults to two columns beside the sidebar unless a supported columns: value is explicitly supplied. It is not supported by Cards carousel or filter layouts.

The sidebar's wording and destination are set in the theme. Its current destination is /join_weafv; see the launch notes for the final URL update.
