Living Wage

#Website documentation

Welcome to the documentation for the Living Wage Movement Aotearoa New Zealand website. It explains how the site is assembled in NationBuilder, which fields supply each piece of content, and how page tags switch on the custom layouts and data-driven modules.

The first sections are written for content editors. The developer notes at the end record the theme and integration details needed for technical maintenance.

The short version

Most public landing pages are made from a parent page and a manually ordered set of subpages. The parent has the tag subpage_layout. Each subpage becomes one visible section of the parent page. A tag such as layout:page-header or module_logo_grid tells the theme how to display that section.

News, Events, Donate and the Accredited Employers directory use specialised NationBuilder page types or integrations. Their documentation explains the different editing workflow.
